The coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact communities nationwide and around the world.  This issue is cause for additional focus and caution.  Karen Curry Hair monitors the situation via the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

As the situation develops, your health and well-being are at the forefront of operational decisions that have been made. These are outlined below.  In these times, you must maintain self-care and hair care while protecting yourself and your community.

As a licensed salon, the guidelines and strict sanitation protocols set forth by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, have always been implemented and these actions help to limit potential exposure to viruses or unwanted bacteria.

 

What We Have Always Done

• Spaces and tools are cleaned and sanitized daily.

• Multi-use items(hair scissors, hair combs) are washed, sanitized, and sterilized after every client.

• Single-use items (gloves, tissues) are disposed of after each service.

• With Karen Curry Hair, you enjoy a private suite with you and the stylist limiting your exposure to others.

If you're sick and have an appointment scheduled

You are recommended to stay home if you feel sick. You're welcome to reschedule appointments, especially as we all continue to exercise caution.
